The DVB-S2 digital modulator with IF output at 70 MHz (opt. 20 ÷ 350 MHz) represents the best solution for DVB-S2 transmission systems. With respect to the DVB-S systems, the second generation of digital satellite standard introduces some architectural upgrading able to manage larger transmission capabilities. Among these peculiarities, the most important one is the possibility to manage multiple data flows encoded according to MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 (H.264) standards for HDTV support.
