The DVB-T digital modulator with IF output at 36 MHz represents the perfect solution for digital broadcasting systems characterized by good performance in high multipath conditions, typical of metropolitan areas. In fact, the COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) modulation allows the transmission of the digital signals characterized by high bitrate, also in case of considerable intersymbol interference (ISI) due to the different paths raising from multiple reflections.

The DVB-T modulator in object provides the COFDM modulation of an ASI signal, coming e.g. from an audio/video MPEG-2 encoder, getting in output an intermediate frequency signal at 36 MHz.
